Zhou Xun for L’Officiel, November 2012.

oh look its just two of the most beautiful people on the planet.
i mean takeshi is THE most beautiful man on earth to me (though he ruins it sometimes with his choice of facial hair - lol)
and seriously - if i was magically transformed into an asian woman i would want to look like zhou xun. she is fucking gorgeous. it hurts me.
i love though, how she has this voice that sounds like an much older, world-weary lady. its such a funny combination with her beautiful face.
anyways i am just rambling crap. this still is from Perhaps Love which is a film I loved. i went and saw it for takeshi and came out a fan of her also. :D

I’m not the only one who hates how Zhou Xun’s character treated Takeshi’s right…? I mean like… I SUPER hated how she treated him… to the point where I really depise looking at her face…. I’m not the only one right…? [This is Perhaps Love btw…]

i dunno - initially i didnt like her but she grew on me as i watched the film. i think its Zhou Xuns portrayal of the character that let me feel some sympathy too. even though shes seems quite hard when they meet up again i think it is only to protect herself. i think she really liked (loved?) him in the past but she had been so poor and she was trying to drag herself up out of the mud, and at the time it meant leaving this sweet boy behind. then in the present she had to be harsh with him because she had to protect the life she had made and if she hadnt kept pushing him away then she would have been very vunerable…..the part where they return to the place they lived together…omgawd i was crying so hard. i cried through a lot of this movie. i already adored takeshi when i went and saw this, but i became a fan of zhou xun after too.
